This film was made for the 48 Hour Film Project: i.e. it was written shot and edited in just 48 hours. To make sure that the rules were followed the festival organizes incorporated a few elements: The required character was Jason Meyers, a veterinarian. The required line of dialogue: "They will get them if we let them." The required prop: a portable music player. We had a lot of fun making it (as you can probably tell). And, yes, we enjoyed shooting the tango scenes. We are blessed with great dancers in the Twin Cities. The tango community was very supportive.
